Terms and conditions

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Discounts: From time to time we offer discounts on purchases, this applies only to in stock items and excludes items on a 5-10 working day delivery schedule. This also excludes digital material.

Subscriptions: We offer discounts on all subscriptions by purchasing a subscription product you are agreeing to accept the discounted price and sigh up to at least 2 issues! To Cancel a subscription please write or email us at least 14 days prior to the next release!

Tax Charges For orders made from Ireland 23% VAT is charged. Orders Outside Ireland Are VAT Free provided a valid EU Vat number is provided!

Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We us SSL 128bit encryption at the checkout stage of our website, which in plain english means that when your credit card information is sent from your computer it is unreadable from that moment until it reaches our processer! 

Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a 7 day no quibble guarantee. This Excludes Karaoke Discs. 

Events Beyond our Control 

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered, or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident. 

Liability 

If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing (e.g. by email) at our contact address of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

 

If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods. 

If you notify a problem to us under this condition our only obligation will be, at your option:- 

  1. a) to make good any shortage or non-delivery,
  2. b) to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective, or
  3. c) to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose (defective goods must be returned to us within 7 days of purchace date).

Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under paragraph c) above. 

You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchased. 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

Privacy Policy Showcase Ireland do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

We will also add your email address to out mailing list which we use to send occasional emails relating to special offers/ new products etc. We do not let anybody else use this list, not will we ever give any third party any access to it in the future. All promotion emails we send out have the option to unsubscribe to the list if you wish. 

Returns Policy Under the EC Distance Selling Directive, you have the right to cancel the contract for your purchase within 7 days of delivery. You cannot cancel your contract if the goods you have ordered are audio or video media, and you have taken these items out of the sealed packages in which they were delivered to you. 

To cancel a contract, write "Cancel Contract" on the back of the invoice. Package the items securely and send them to reach us with the invoice within seven days following delivery. We request that you email us at info@karaoke.ie to tell us that you are returning goods before you send them. 24 hours' advance warning is required for returns. The return address is:

We recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error. You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, postage and packing). When we receive the goods with the notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item. 

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any relevant sum debited to us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order, provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you. 

Media Returns: Digital Downloads & CDG and DVD Discs are strictly non return! 

Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee will be charged on all returned goods! 

Remittance Terms All goods remain the property of Karaoke Ireland until paid for in full.
